Drs. David and Debra Levinson, partners in marriage and in adventure, are leading experts in luxury travel to Italy. Their years of travel experience have taken them to every corner of the country—from romantic getaways on the Italian Riviera for just the two of them, to family ski trips in chic resort towns like Cortina d'Ampezzo with their three sons, to exploring the riches of the Italian Art Cities with friends.
The Levinson’s passion for Italy took hold on their very first visit over a decade ago, and it continues to grow as they deepen their knowledge of the country’s culture, people, cuisine, and stunning landscapes. David and Debra Levinson have continued to return with their sons, extended family, and with friends, totaling over sixty visits so far to this enchanting country. As the success of their guidebooks and website began to grow, people began referring to the Levinsons as Mr. and Mrs. Italy.
Trained as a Doctor of Chiropractic specializing in prenatal care, pediatrics, and woman's health, Debra now devotes herself full time to her travel adventures. She has served as a guest speaker at the Italian Tourism Symposium and as a travel consultant for numerous Italian hotels, resorts, and tour operators. Her first book, Italy's Best with Kids, was a self-publishing phenomenon, transcending its humble beginnings to become a brisk seller in major chain bookstores.
With over thirty years of experience as a Doctor of Chiropractic, Dr. David Levinson has worked with some of the world’s most elite athletes to maximize their health and performance in the NBA, MLB, NFL, and NHL, as well as those competing in swimming, gymnastics, professional tennis, triathlon, and track and field.
A member of the PGA Sports Medicine Staff since 2004, he has perfected a cutting edge therapeutic system for professional golfers that combines chiropractic techniques with kinesiology, yoga, nutrition, and functional strength training. Most recently, David has partnered with select Italy Luxury Hotels to help guests maximize their golf game utilizing these innovative functional analysis technologies.
